Construction and Application of Numerical Simulation Platform for Turbulent Combustion Based on Cluster

Abstract: The characters of the cluster system and its software and hardware configuration environment are first described, then a computational fluid dynamics cluster system based on MPI and the open source platform OpenFOAM is constructed, and the performance and parallel efficiency of the cluster system are tested and analyzed. The numerical simulation and parallel computing for turbulent combustion flow reactor are achieved by using this cluster system and the three-dimensional flow field simulation results are obtained. The experiment results show that the cluster system for numerical simulation of turbulent combustion can improve the computational efficiency significantly and get better simulation results.
